Features and Benefits
- Innovative flexible modular solution enabling suitable sites to be upgraded to 5G capability
- A selection of 3.5GHz Passive or Active mMIMO antennas are compatible and easily installed in the AEKT module
- The module installs directly above an existing, suitable passive antenna to provide the appearance of a single integrated antenna unit – potentially simplifying site zoning approvals (The_module_1)
- Installed antenna units can be swapped out on site - e.g. to perform capacity upgrades
- Compatible specifically with antennas featuring CommScope’s 498 x 197 mm (WxD) radome housing
- Can be deployed as a standalone solution
- Includes Antenna Enclosure Housing, Installation Kit for CommScope 3.5GHz Antenna (Types S4-90M-R1-V2, S4-90M-R1-V3 or S4-90M-R1-V4), AEKT Mounting Hardware, protective “Windshield” Panels and Top Cap
- Installation Kit for suitable mMIMO Active Antennas to be ordered separately when required
- A Mounting Kit for the antenna installed below the AEKT unit should be ordered separately, Commscope P/N: BSAMNT-AEKT (required when installing the AEKT module directly on top of an antenna)
