SCIL

The SCIL in-line splice closure is deployed at key splice points in the FTTX distribution and access network. Because the closure is spliced in-line with the network feeder cable, it is suitable for many locations – in hand holes below ground, on the side of a building, or hung on a strand between poles. Besides protection, these closures are easy to install and maintain. They facilitate quick access to the fiber splices and support a widerange of cables. This combination of strengths make the SCIL (Splice Closure In-Line) excel in facade, branch off, network expansion, and repair applications.

The SCIL closures are offered in 3 versions:

SCIL-A
Recommended applications: Below grade, Pedestal, Facade
Splice trays: 2 x (24 splices)
Number of splices: 48
Cable entry ports:2 x feeder, 8 x drop
Cable diameter: 6 - 11 mm (2 x feeder) or 4 - 7.5 mm (8 x drop)

SCIL-B

SCIL-C
